Primary Responsibilities

The BCC Bartenders are to exceed guests expectations by serving quality food and beverage products efficiently, courteously, and correctly.

Essential Job Functions
  • Stocks all liquor as it arrives.
  • Inspects the bar prior to opening to ensure that adequate supplies are available.
  • Stocks all glasses and checks that they are clean.
  • Requests additional supplies as necessary.
  • Follows set-up procedures.
  • Prepares garnishes, mixes and pre-mixed drinks.
  • Greets guests.
  • Mixes, prepares and serves drinks according to the recipes approved by the Beverage Manager.
  • Collects checks/payment for drinks served.
  • Reports complaints to a manager as soon as they occur.
  • Maintains and cleans equipment.
  • Maintains the proper storage and cleanliness standards for the wine cellar or other holding area(s).
  • Maintains records of liquors, beers, wine, tobacco and sundries to ensure par stock is maintained at all times.
  • Cleans and locks up according to prescribed procedures.
  • Performs liquor inventory at the end of every month or as deemed necessary by the manager.
  • Ensure that all preparation and closing duties are performed according to the published checklist and company standards.
  • Stay current with company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure the POS system is operational and accurate at all times.
  • Report on time and in proper uniform.
  • Balance cash at end of shift/day.
  • Adhere to ABC regulations regarding service and handling of alcohol.
  • Assist in maintaining an attractive and orderly clubhouse.
  • Ensure proper stocking and posted side work duties.
  • Positively promote the club throughout the community and while at work.
  • Attend to guest requests as well as complaints professionally.
  • Ensure each guest receives consistent service and products.
  • Ensure all posted safety procedures are adhered to.
  • Will be required to work on a shift basis, including weekends, nights and holidays.
  • Must have a solid understanding of the golf club environment.
  • Background in Food & Beverage.
