* Summary:

** The role of the Kitchen Steward is to support the culinary teams in dishwashing and maintaining cleanliness of the kitchens and surrounding areas.
** Responsibilities:
*** Know, understand, and adhere to company established policies and procedures.
* Ensures guest interactions are always positive. Smiles with every guest.
* To wash dishes, pots, and small wares in a safe, efficient and timely manner.
* To properly store and handle glassware, china, and silverware, etc. to prevent breakage.
* To maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas.
* To remove trash in kitchen and outside areas and place in appropriate containers as specified by Company policy and procedures.
* To know how to use and apply all chemicals in a safe manner.
* To assist the kitchen Chef in the preparation of food when asked.
* To assist the Chef in receiving deliveries of food and food related products.
* Operates kitchen cleaning equipment.
* Performs other related duties as assigned.## Qualifications
* Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
