Food Service Manager needed for school food service in the Asbury, NJ area. Monday through Friday, day shift, 6 hours daily. No weekends or holidays. Summers off.
Serv Safe® Certification a plus. Must be comfortable working in a fast pace team environment. Able to obtain the proper documentation to work in schools
Duties to Include:- Managing the operation on a daily basis.
- Cooking
- Food preparation, cooking a variety of foods, following recipes, portion control, production standards according to the NSLP guidelines. - Ordering
- Placing orders, inventory, assist in marketing promotions. - POS/Register
- Assist workers with cash collection, follow recording keeping procedures. - Safety
- Endure all personal protection equipment is in use at all times - Cleanliness - maintain a clean and safe kitchen at all times.
- Staffing - secure food service workers, and substitutes.
