As an Asset Protection Team Lead you will perform various leadership, asset protection, and safety functions, to include training, investigations, report reviews, audit processes, compliance, operation of security systems/equipment, and ensuring a safe and secure environment. • Ensure a safe and secure environment for people and property in and around the distribution center, trailer yard and offices
• Enforce building access guidelines
• Train and coach the team to successfully fulfill their duties
• Interact with Burlington associates, executives and vendor representatives in a professional manner, providing quick attention to answer questions and find solutions
• Use and maintain a working camera surveillance system completing necessary testing, updates and record keeping
• Administer building card access system, create badges, grant access and conduct audits on access points as needed
• Audit yard reports and assist with end of month audits
• Conduct investigations and accurately document findings
• Assist in fire drills, safety inspections, and other tasks designed to maintain a high level of protection and safety
• Provide support to the AP Supervisor by monitoring and addressing team's performance

• Valid driver's license for use of company security vehicle

• 1-3 years of asset protection or related experience
• Skills and abilities:
  • Exceptional organization skills, ability to multitask and prioritize work activity based on need
  • Strong in interpersonal interaction, with a courteous and professional demeanor
  • Applies attention to detail, takes initiative, and has follow-through skills
  • Excellent computer skills including MS Word, Excel, Yard Management, and Outlook
