Cashier- Shrewsbury

Green’s Natural Foods is seeking a friendly, reliable Cashier to provide excellent customer service while accurately processing transactions. The Cashier plays a key role in creating a welcoming shopping experience consistent with our commitment to natural, organic, and high-quality products.

• Greet customers promptly and courteously
• Operate cash register, scanner, and POS system accurately
• Handle cash, credit/debit, EBT, and other payment methods
• Maintain knowledge of store products, including organic and specialty items
• Answer customer questions and direct them to appropriate departments
• Bag groceries carefully and efficiently
• Maintain a clean, organized checkout area
• Follow all company policies and procedures, including loss prevention
• Assist with stocking, pricing, and other duties as assigned

• Previous retail or cashier experience preferred, but not required
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Basic math and cash-handling ability
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
• Interest in natural and organic foods is a plus
• Fast-paced retail setting
• Frequent standing, walking, and repetitive hand movements
• Occasional lifting, bending, and reaching
• Hourly wage: starting at $16/ hour
