Retail Display Installer - Electronics - Part Time

Join Action Link as a Part‑Time Retail Merchandiser in Rio Grande, NJ.

• Store visits: complete projects at major retail stores within an assigned territory
• Ensure proper placement, assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting of promotional product displays
• Represent global clients such as Microsoft, Samsung, T‑Mobile, Dyson, Bose, and Intel
• Schedule:
  
  up to 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (no weekends or evenings)
• Potential for additional hours when covering larger regions or traveling
• Submit same‑day digital surveys with feedback and pictures for each store visit

• General merchandising projects paid at $18.00 per hour
• Additional technical projects available at higher rates, based on need
• W‑2 employment with bi‑weekly pay schedule and direct deposit

• Paid training time provided to prepare for program success
• Accrue PTO hours each week worked

• Previous merchandising, 3PL, or relevant retail experience highly desirable
• Versatility: handle all levels of merchandising work within assigned territory
• Attention to detail: follow complex written instructions and display diagrams
• Independence and teamwork: comfortable working independently and collaborating with a small team when needed
• Tech‑ready:
  Internet access, basic hand‑held tools, and a Wi‑Fi/GPS enabled smart device with latest OS update; laptop or desktop access is a plus
• Travel ability: must have a driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle; will use vehicle to perform responsibilities of the role
• Physical ability: must be able to stand, bend, stoop, climb ladders, and lift products weighing up to 50 lbs without assistance
