Position: Hallmark Field Merchandiser (part-time) Franklin Park, NJ 08823

JOB OVERVIEW

As a Field Merchandiser, you'll work independently to showcase your organization and time‑management skills, establish retailer relationships, and serve as the face of Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support seasonal resets and installations as needed, and may also work with other products from other companies in the stores you service.

  • Your starting hourly pay rate is $16.00 to $17.00 depending on your skills and experience.
  • Paid training is delivered through live, hands‑on instruction as well as virtual classroom training.
  • Part‑time employees receive voluntary benefits such as medical, dental, vision and other options.
  • Eligible employees receive annual pay increases.
  • This is a part‑time position with a variable schedule during the work week.
  • Average weekly hours are between 8 – 11 per week.
  • Availability the week before and after major holidays, including weekends, is required.
  • Availability to support seasonal changeovers, extended services, installations and inventory support.
YOUR

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Day‑to‑day engagement: using a mobile device you restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark product inventory within and outside the Hallmark department; communicate with the supervisor; provide feedback; and answer surveys for required merchandising activities.
  • Holiday support: additional days and extended hours around seasonal demand; may be required to work on the holiday itself.
  • Department resets: support installations, building and relocating Hallmark fixtures, and resetting card sections; notified two weeks in advance; may involve evenings or weekends.
  • Team support: as part of Hallmark’s field organization you help other team members as needed in their territories.
  • PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

    This is a physically demanding job that requires pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying up to 30 pounds routinely and up to 50 pounds occasionally; kneeling, squatting, walking, and standing all day; and may require climbing stairs and step ladders.

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
    • Minimum 18 years of age.
    • Ability to read, write, and understand English.
    • Capable of lifting and carrying up to 30 pounds routinely and 50 pounds occasionally.
    • Proficient with a digital hand‑held device for reading documents and interpreting information.
    • Access to a Wi‑Fi network and internet.
    • Consistent transportation to travel to assigned stores on schedule.
