Support Lead

• Ensure all crew members wow the customer through personal contact and provide fast, friendly checkout experiences.
• Train crew on the B.E.S.T. customer service experience and oversee daily activities of all store associates.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for quick placement on the sales floor.
• Act as Manager on Duty when required, handling store operations, staff management, customer service, and urgent issues.
• Manage opening or closing of the store, including securing cash, locking doors, setting alarms, and ensuring smooth daily operation.
• Support the onboarding and ongoing training of associates in store policies, product knowledge, and operational procedures.
• Drive store sales and control expenses by optimizing merchandising, staff performance, and customer service.
• Partner with the store leadership team in merchandising procedures and World Recovery.
• Perform store maintenance such as garbage disposal, sweeping, bathroom cleaning, and stock room upkeep.
• Additional responsibilities may be assigned by the Store Manager as needed.

• High school graduate or equivalent; college experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi‑task, think creatively, and maintain composure under pressure.

• Frequently operate the cash register.
• Frequently move merchandise weighing up to 25 lbs and place/remove merchandise up to a height of 5–10 feet.
• Frequently ascend/descend ladders to retrieve and put away stock.
• Frequently position self to kneel, bend, twist, and stoop, including in the stock room and on the sales floor.
• Frequently communicate with customers face‑to‑face and over the telephone, exchanging accurate information.
• Frequently move across the sales floor assisting customers and retrieving/putting away merchandise from the stock room.
• Work a flexible schedule to meet business needs, including day, evening, weekends, and occasional overnight shifts or travel.
• Identify and follow email and print instructions regarding merchandise layouts, associate schedules, and standard operating procedures.
• Remain in a stationary, upright position for 80% of the time.
