Gourmet ​/ Deli Team Member - Full-Time

Did someone say  Cheese!?  It's nice to  Meat  you! Gary's Wine & Marketplace is a well-known family-run business in Bernardsville. We've been in business since 1987! We sell wine, beer, spirits, cheese, meats, and other gourmet food delicacies.

We are seeking someone who is hard-working and has a positive attitude. If you perform well in this role, there is plenty of room for growth (e.g., becoming a Gourmet Team Lead, etc.).

Major Areas of Responsibility:

• Using a thorough knowledge of our gourmet items, assist guests in the selection and pairing of cheeses with wine, beer, and spirits
• Assist guests with the selection of gourmet items for gift baskets
• Keep abreast of knowledge and trends in gourmet items.
• Ensuring the rotation of gourmet stock and removing expired items from shelves and displays.

• A strong sense of customer service
• Ability to lift 40 lbs.
• Must be 18 years of age
• Basic computer skills
