Seasonal Retail Receiving Associate

Wayfair is hiring Seasonal Retail Receiving Associates to support peak demand in our fast-paced home goods environment. You'll unload deliveries, verify counts against purchase orders, inspect items for damage, and use handheld devices to label and route merchandise. Working closely with store and warehouse teams, you'll organize inventory, restock shelves, and keep the receiving area clean and safe. This role suits detail-oriented team players comfortable with physical work, shifting priorities, and a data-driven, customer-focused culture that values ownership and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Unload and receive incoming merchandise shipments
• Verify shipment accuracy against purchase orders and packing lists
• Inspect items for visible damage or defects and report issues
• Use handheld devices or RF scanners to label and track inventory
• Organize and stage products for stocking, storage, or display
• Replenish sales floor and backroom locations from received inventory
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized receiving and backroom area
• Follow safety procedures when lifting and using equipment
• Collaborate with store and warehouse teams to prioritize workload
• Meet productivity, accuracy, and quality standards during peak periods
