Our client is a global leader in sampling & Retail packaging solutions for the fragrance and cosmetic industry. The business is headquartered in NJ and has a global manufacturing footprint with several production facilities in Europe, the US and Brazil.
The company provides solutions for promotional sampling in the Beauty Category, used for e-commerce, direct mailing to customers as well as products sold and distributed at retail.
They have an excellent opportunity for a Senior Sales Leader.
Key Responsibilities
Generate and manage a strong sales pipeline and forecast associated with substantiated opportunities
Maintain an active schedule of face-to-face appointments and prospecting calls
Review key sales accounts & new business opportunities monthly with manager
Work closely with manufacturing facilities to ensure programs are delivered with the highest expectations
Communicate brands needs and feedback to internal teams (NPD, CPM, Estimating, Procurement, etc.) to ensure product roadmap is aligned with market expectations
Responsible for sending pricing proposals to clients and negotiating contracts if necessary
Work with SVP Sales to target new business and create a yearly sales budget and strategy
Present Quarterly Business Reviews to the President & Sales team
Work within team to implement sales growth strategies & achieve targeted team goals
Strong activity in sales outreach by using tools such as Zoom Info, Linked In and inbound leads.
Track leads, new business & analytics on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.
Initiate new business opportunities outside of the beauty space (ex. Health, wellness, pet care, etc.)
Attend client meetings, trade shows & networking events travel as required
Work together with Marketing to develop innovative ways of presenting to clients & cross-strategize new business development initiatives to synergize efforts
Required skills & experience
Bachelor's Degree
8-10+ years sales experience for a contract manufacturer or packaging supplier in Beauty or fragrance
Proven track record of exceeding set goals and quotas
Entrepreneurial and independent, willing to be flexible
Demonstrated sales growth and strong negotiation skills with results-driven mindset
Excellent communication skills: verbal/presentation and written
Experience in CRM system preferred
Self-starter, able to work autonomously
Detailed minded and numerate
Problem solver with the ability to find solutions
Positive attitude with a high level of Honesty and Personal Integrity
