Solar Energy World – a wholly owned subsidiary of Comcast Corporation – is a top‑rated, award‑winning regional solar panel installation company serving Maryland, Virginia, Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Florida, and Washington D.C. Positions are within our newly formed Energy Services business unit, focused on expanding our reach and delivering high‑quality renewable energy solutions to homeowners and businesses.
RoleOutside Sales Representative
As part of our sales team, you will be a critical part of how we achieve growth and continue to deliver against our high standard of customer experience.
CompensationBase Compensation plus an uncapped variable commission. Eligible employees are paid monthly commission that draws from base pay. Commission in excess of the base pay is paid out per a monthly schedule. First‑year sales reps typically earn an average of $75,000 in commission, with the top 15% exceeding $200,000 annually.
Core Responsibilities- Work with self‑generated and company leads to sell PV systems to homeowners and businesses.
- Confirm scheduled appointments, manage calendar, close pending tasks, report meetings, and create orders in the system of record.
- Maintain communication with inside sales to enlist their help to confirm leads when needed.
- Meet with prospects both in person and virtually, presenting customized explanations of solar savings and benefits for each customer.
- Execute loan calculations, credit applications, and coordinate loan execution.
- Maintain consistent communication with customers during the process before and after installation.
- Keep consistent follow‑up with prospecting and missed appointments.
- Attend mandatory weekly operations and sales meetings.
- Use independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
- Show regular, consistent, and punctual attendance; be available for nights and weekends with a variable schedule as necessary.

High school diploma or GED required. 2–5 years of relevant sales experience.
