Overview

The Junior Account Manager will support the growth of the Advertising Services business by assisting with client relationship management, prospecting, and sales support across a portfolio of insurance and financial services clients. The Junior Account Manager will have experience with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred), Linked In Sales Navigator or similar tools, and an interest in B2B media, advertising, and the insurance industry.

Responsibilities

Account Support and Client Management
  • Support Account Managers in managing day-to-day client relationships and campaign execution
  • Assist with renewals, account maintenance, and client communications
  • Prepare materials for client meetings, proposals, and presentations
  • Coordinate follow-ups from conferences, meetings, and industry events
Prospecting and Business Development
  • Conduct research using Linked In Sales Navigator, CRM tools, and third-party platforms to identify new opportunities
  • Assist with prospecting activities, including outreach and lead qualification
  • Maintain accurate client and prospect records within Salesforce or other CRM systems
Sales Operations and Pipeline Management
  • Track pipeline activity, opportunities, and account status within CRM systems
  • Support forecasting and reporting activities for the sales team
  • Ensure CRM data integrity and compliance (Salesforce preferred)
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with sales, marketing, ad operations, and production teams to support campaign delivery
  • Assist with internal coordination to move opportunities through the sales cycle
  • Contribute to competitive research and market intelligence efforts
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in B2B sales, advertising, media, or related field
  • Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce strongly preferred)
  • Proficiency with Linked In (Sales Navigator preferred)
Skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong follow-through
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a strong interest in sales development
  • Ability to collaborate across teams and functions
  • High level of professionalism in client-facing interactions
  • Prior experience in digital advertising, media sales, or account management support
  • Familiarity with sales prospecting tools (e.g., Zoom Info, Media Radar, etc.)
  • Analytical mindset with comfort using data and CRM tools
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, client-facing environment
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Exposure to insurance, financial services, or information services industries
