A growing food distribution organization is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to support a team of outside sales professionals while serving as a primary point of contact for customers throughout the order lifecycle.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced food distribution environment and enjoys building customer relationships, solving problems, supporting sales growth, and ensuring customers receive exceptional service. The successful candidate will bring experience working within food distribution, food manufacturing, protein, dairy, seafood, food service, or wholesale food channels and will understand the urgency, complexity, and pace of the industry
.

Manage the complete order lifecycle from order entry through delivery and issue resolut - ion.
Support outside sales representatives by coordinating customer requests, pricing updates, product information, and account activ - ity.
Build strong relationships with customers through proactive communication and responsive serv - ice.
Identify opportunities to introduce new products, increase order volume, and support account growth initi - ves.
Coordinate closely with warehouse, inventory, logistics, purchasing, and sales teams to ensure timely fulfillm - ent.
Communicate product changes, pricing updates, inventory shortages, and delivery schedules to custom - ers.
Maintain accurate customer records, pricing information, and account notes within CRM and internal syst - ems.
Assist with sales reporting, quote preparation, account analysis, and customer follow-up activit - ies.
Participate in product training, supplier meetings, and ongoing sales development initi
- TIONS5+ years of customer service, inside sales, account management, or sales support experi
- ence.
Experience supporting outside sales teams in a food distribution, food service, protein, seafood, dairy, food manufacturing, wholesale redistribution, or CPG environ - ment.
Experience managing the full order lifecycle from order entry through deli - very.
Strong customer relationship management and problem-solving abili - ties.
Experience working with CRM, ERP, order management, or distribution management sys - tems.
Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a high-volume environ
