Business Development Value Acceleration

Full Time Denville, NJ, US

The member would be an integral member of the Value Acceleration team and responsible for business development in the international market with focus on building the business of Specialty Ingredients in the assigned market.

Location

North‑east of United States of America (preferred if the candidate is closer to office in New Jersey at Denville).

  • Deliver on targets for creating a market for Specialty Ingredients by generating new opportunities & converting leads to win business.
  • Ensure effective relationship management with customers across functions at senior levels, with a particular focus to building networks within R&D and Formulator teams at customer’s end.
  • Connect, build networks, and drive strategic initiatives in product co‑creation with Global Development Centers of key accounts.
  • Identify, collect, analyze, and disseminate market intelligence on the new products to the Strategic Marketing and Product Management teams.
  • Feed the innovation funnel with new ideas and customer‑identified need gaps to support new product development for the region.
  • Liaise with the regional Sales & Application teams to drive customer projects by proactively supporting the resolution of challenges and requirements.
  • Manage and maintain sales opportunities, leads, visit reports, and technical/formulation requests on the CRM tools such as Salesforce.
  • Provide support to customers on product applications, process optimization, and troubleshooting challenges related to the adoption of new products.
  • Deliver training and share know‑how on concepts and formulations with customer and distributor teams.
  • Drive regional marketing initiatives with support from the Marketing team.
  • Represent Galaxy at various industry forums to build the corporate brand, expand the industry network, and advance strategic imperatives.

Role will involve travel for a minimum of 50% of time.

Will have to attend office for minimum of 5 days per month beyond the above stated travel time.

Qualifications

Graduation or Masters in field of Chemical Technology / Engineering / Chemistry with qualification in Management preferred.

Experience / What the candidate brings to the table
  • Experience in the Home and Personal Care industry.
  • Connected with key R&D / Innovation members and decision makers across – Brands, Contract Manufacturers, Contract Development Organizations, etc. in the HPC industry across the North America region, preferably in Northeast market of North America.
  • Relevant experience in Techno‑Commercial or Specialty Ingredients Sales role
