Liccardi Ford & Liccardi Chrysler are looking for an experienced Commercial Truck Sales Manager to lead and grow our commercial truck business. This is an outstanding opportunity for a motivated professional with experience selling commercial vehicles, developing fleet accounts, and building long‑term business relationships. We’re seeking a leader who can expand our commercial presence throughout New Jersey by working with contractors, municipalities, small businesses, and commercial fleets while managing day‑to‑day truck operations.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Develop and grow the dealership’s commercial truck sales department.
- Build relationships with local businesses, contractors, municipalities, and fleet customers.
- Prospect new commercial accounts through networking, cold calling, referrals, and community involvement.
- Manage inbound commercial inquiries and deliver outstanding customer service.
- Work closely with manufacturers on fleet programs, incentives, and commercial vehicle availability.
- Coordinate upfits, body installations, and custom commercial vehicle solutions.
- Manage inventory and ordering of Ford Super Duty, Chassis Cab, Transit, Ram Commercial, Pro Master, and other work vehicles.
- Hire, train, and mentor commercial truck sales staff as the department grows.
- Partner with Finance, Service, and Parts departments to deliver complete fleet solutions.
- Meet and exceed monthly sales, gross profit, and customer satisfaction goals.
- Automotive commercial truck or fleet sales experience preferred.
- Previous dealership management experience is highly desirable.
- Strong business development and relationship‑building skills.
- Self‑motivated with the ability to generate new business.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of commercial financing, leasing, and fleet sales programs is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
