Business Development Account Manager

Location: Englewood Cliffs, NJ

Reports to: Sales Manager

Work Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:30 PM

Salary: 77-80K/year

Position Summary

Our client, a food manufacturing company is seeking a proactive and self-motivated Business Development Account Manager to join their sales team.

This position focuses on developing new business, maintaining strong client relationships, and achieving sales goals in the assigned area.

This role involves product demonstrations and tastings, it is a great fit for someone who has an interest in Asian cuisine and enjoys cooking or food presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Report to office every morning. 80% client visit in the area, 20% desk work.
  • Identify new business opportunities and promote company products and services
  • Conduct sales meetings, prepare proposals, and follow up with clients
  • Maintain accurate customer records and provide regular sales reports
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of sales or business development experience (B2B preferred)
  • Valid driver’s license; able to travel frequently within territory
  • Japanese, and Korean or Chinese language skill required
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Positive attitude, self-driven, and results-oriented
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
