This is a full-time, on-site Outside Sales Representative role based in Bedminster, NJ. The person in this role will identify and pursue new business opportunities, including prospecting, qualifying leads, and managing the sales pipeline in assigned territories and markets. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting sales presentations, demonstrating product capabilities, preparing proposals, and negotiating pricing and terms in collaboration with internal teams. The Outside Sales Representative will build and maintain strong relationships with customers, provide responsive service, and act as a trusted resource for equipment and systems solutions.
The role also involves coordinating with engineering and operations teams, tracking market trends and competitor activity, and reporting on sales activities and results to management.
- Strong skills in Sales Presentations and New Business Development to effectively generate and close opportunities.
- Proficiency in Relationship Building and Customer Service to maintain long-term, trust-based client partnerships.
- Excellent Communication skills, including clear verbal, written, and interpersonal communication with customers and internal teams.
- Proven experience in outside or field sales, preferably in industrial, petroleum, chemical, or related technical markets.
- Ability to understand technical product information and translate it into practical solutions for customers.
- Self-directed work style with solid time management, territory planning, and organizational skills.
- Comfort with travel within the assigned region as needed to visit customers and project sites.
- High school diploma required; an associate or bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field is beneficial.
