Wound Care Representative / Clinical Care Representative - Curitec Northeast Job Summary

Curitec is seeking a full-time Wound Care Specialist / Clinical Care Representative to support our Northeast territory.

This is a field-based role that combines wound care knowledge, clinical education, relationship-building, and territory support. The Clinical Care Representative serves as a wound care resource to skilled nursing facilities, providers, and clinical teams while also representing Curitec’s services in the field.

The right candidate will be clinically confident, highly organized, comfortable working independently, and able to build strong relationships with facility staff, nurses, providers, and decision-makers. This role requires both clinical credibility and a sales-minded approach to service growth, facility engagement, and account support.

About the Role

As a Clinical Care Representative, you will conduct wound rounds in assigned facilities, provide education on wound care products and best practices, support accurate documentation, and help ensure Curitec’s services are delivered with professionalism and follow-through.

This is not a sedentary or strictly bedside clinical role. It is a field-based position that requires daily travel, in-person facility engagement, strong communication skills, and comfort with sales and relationship-driven conversations. Success in this role requires someone who can educate, influence, problem-solve, and maintain strong partnerships within an assigned territory.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct wound rounds in assigned skilled nursing and post-acute care facilities.
  • Provide clinical support related to wound assessment, dressing selection, product utilization, and wound care best practices.
  • Educate facility staff, nurses, providers, and care teams on wound care products, Curitec processes, and appropriate documentation needs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with facility leadership, clinicians, providers, and key decision-makers.
  • Support territory growth by identifying opportunities to expand Curitec’s presence within current and potential partner facilities.
  • Represent Curitec professionally in the field and communicate the value of Curitec’s services to facility teams.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, and facility staff to support appropriate wound care planning.
  • Monitor wound progress and communicate concerns, updates, or recommendations to the appropriate care team members.
  • Support accurate and timely documentation related to wound care services, product needs, facility interactions, and follow-up items.
  • Use internal systems, including Salesforce and wound care documentation platforms, to track activity, follow-up, and account needs.
  • Participate in facility education, in-services, and ongoing training to support strong clinical outcomes and service growth.
  • Stay current with wound care standards, product knowledge, and evidence-based practices.
Requirements
  • Current licensure in good standing as an RN, LPN/LVN, PT, or PTA.
  • Minimum of 2 years of wound care experience preferred; 3 or more years strongly preferred.
  • Wound care certification preferred, or willingness to obtain certification within the required timeframe.
  • Strong clinical judgment and comfort discussing wound care needs with nurses, providers, and facility leadership.
  • Sales, marketing, business development, or account management experience preferred.
  • Strong communication, education, and relationship-building skills.
  • Professional appearance and ability to represent Curitec well in the field.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage scheduling, follow-up, documentation, and territory needs independently.
  • General computer skills, including comfort with Microsoft Office, email, documentation systems, and CRM platforms.
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel daily within the assigned territory.
  • Ability to drive up to a 3-hour radius from home, with occasional overnight travel as needed.
