In-Home HVAC Sales Consultant

A. J. Perri Plumbing, Heating, Cooling seeks an In-Home HVAC Sales Consultant to meet with residential customers, evaluate comfort and system needs, and sell heating and cooling solutions. You'll run company-provided leads, perform thorough home assessments, and present tailored options, including financing and indoor air quality upgrades. Partnering with install and service teams, you'll ensure accurate scopes, clear expectations, and a smooth customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-home consultations to assess HVAC needs and comfort concerns
• Develop and present customized HVAC system proposals and pricing
• Educate homeowners on equipment options, energy efficiency, and financing
• Follow up on company-provided leads and track activity in CRM tools
• Collaborate with installation and service teams to ensure smooth project handoff
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets while maintaining high close rates
• Provide accurate site assessments for installation requirements
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HVAC products, codes, and rebates
• Uphold safety, professionalism, and a customer-first approach on every visit
• Participate in ongoing sales and technical training programs
