Job DescriptionEurofins is seeking a Chromatography Scientist – Team Lead with strong expertise in large molecule (protein/biologics) analysis to support and guide analytical activities within a dynamic laboratory environment.
This role combines hands‑on analytical work with informal team leadership, supporting method development, troubleshooting, and execution of complex chromatographic assays for biologics.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and support daily laboratory activities related to chromatographic analysis of proteins, antibodies, and other large molecules.
- Perform and oversee routine and non‑routine analytical assays using HPLC and UPLC systems.
- Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot chromatographic methods for large molecule characterization.
- Execute advanced techniques including:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related scientific field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of hands‑on HPLC/UPLC experience, with a strong focus on large molecule/biologics analysis.
- Demonstrated experience with protein and antibody characterization using chromatographic techniques.
- Proven experience in method development and optimization for biologics.
- Strong understanding of chromatography principles across multiple modalities (SEC, IEX, RP, HIC, affinity).
- Experience with cIEF, BioA/Gx, or similar large molecule analytical techniques preferred.
- Ability to lead by example in a lab setting, supporting team development and workflow execution.
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Self‑motivated, adaptable, and able to work both independently and within a team.
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
On‑site, full‑time, Monday‑Friday, first shift, 8 am–5 pm. Candidates living within commutable distance of Branchburg, New Jersey, are encouraged to apply.
