R&D Assistant, Germ Protection- Wipes

As an R&D Assistant you will support a team of scientists in ensuring product safety and efficacy. Your attention to detail will be crucial in managing technical dossiers and maintaining analytical laboratory compliance.

• Prepare various formulations in the laboratory and conduct performance evaluations (e.g. cleaning, fragrancing, lifespan, foaming) on formula applications.
• Conduct chemical and physical evaluations (e.g. titrations, viscosity, pH, stability, compatibility, phase behavior, surface tension) on various formula applications.
• Maintain MSDS files, chemical inventory and ensure the effective operation of laboratory equipment.
• Maintain detailed records of experiments performed and generate reports on results achieved.
• Coordinate product testing with Microbiology, Information Services, Sensory and Analytical groups as needed.
• Order laboratory supplies and chemicals.

• High School diploma with at least five years of laboratory experience, or an Associate’s Degree in Science with one to two years of related experience in Personal Care and/or Surface Care.
• Knowledge of the Personal Care/Consumer Products market.
• Strong organizational, problem‑solving and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Results‑oriented, self‑motivated, and able to seek information from others to accomplish objectives.
• Flexibility and adaptability to change.
• Ability to execute multiple project objectives within established timelines.
• Desire to learn, apply and enhance skills while seeking new opportunities.
• Networking and communication skills.
• Experience with GLP/GMP a plus.
• Proficiency with common software applications, including MS Office and related computer skills.
