Laboratory Technician

Location:

East Hanover, NJ Duration: 06+ months (Part time: 20-32/hrs)

Lab Contractor. Seeking a part-time lab contractor to provide essential support to our research & development (R&D) team. This role will focus on assisting with various lab tasks, including sample management, shipping, safety compliance, and general lab upkeep. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess excellent communication skills, and be able to prioritize tasks effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Provide support for R&D, marketing, and sales requests.
• Assist with domestic shipments, including packing and generating UPS waybills.
• Receive incoming shipments, unpack shippers, and notify developers.
• Support other R&D tasks as requested, such as setting up and cleaning up product reviews, benchtop prototyping, and sample analysis.
• Manage lab and sample inventory.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in a lab environment is preferred.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
• Proficient in basic computer skills (e.g., email, data entry).
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and move packages.
