Inspector Senior- EHS

Job DescriptionResponsibilities include:
- Conducting inspections, sampling, supervision, and/or coordination with the client, in accordance with the Inspection Order and the inspection body's procedures.
- Participating in the opening and closing meetings of the service.
- Developing the work schedule and distributing the field tasks of the team of inspectors under their charge.
- Ensuring compliance with the schedule and the timely delivery of inspection documents (deliverables) to the Operations Coordinator/Project Coordinator.
- Verifying the equipment and materials delivered by the Instrumentation and Material Preparation team, before and after the service is performed.
- Keeping the internal team (Project Coordinators, Operations Coordinators, Account Executives) and the client informed about the progress of the service or events that may affect it.
- Completing the Preliminary Risk Analysis (PRA) before starting the work, and supervising the quality and safety compliance of the personnel in charge, reporting monthly in Intelex the substandard acts and conditions.
- Actively participating in the safety program (5-Minute Talks, Safety Tools, and minimum 20 hours of annual training), as well as in the annual quality program, with the aim of achieving and replicating in their team the qualification in basic sampling matrices.
- Proposing improvement opportunities and participating in the review of the procedures and instructions of the inspection and sampling activities.
Requirements include:
- High school diploma or technical degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, Fisheries, Biology, or related fields.
- Availability to work on a rotating schedule.
- Availability to travel.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in similar duties.
- Competence/qualification in sampling in water, air, soil, noise, and emissions matrices.
- Experience in managing personnel.
- Proficiency in office software (Windows environment, Excel).
- Desirable: driver's license A1 (minimum 3 years) or A2b (minimum 2 years).
