Security Officer - Front Desk Driver

Position: Security Officer - Front Desk Driver in Trenton, NJ. You will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Learn more:  As a Front Desk Officer at a financial institution location, you will welcome employees and visitors, manage access and visitor logs, support badge and credential processes, and communicate professionally with on-site teams.

You will stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents while delivering customer-focused service aligned with Allied Universal values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity. This post requires a valid driver’s license per Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

• Provide customer service at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a financial services location.
• Greet and screen visitors, vendors, and contractors, verify identification and appointments, issue temporary credentials, and manage visitor logs and key control in accordance with site requirements.
• Monitor lobby activity and security-related systems such as cameras, alarms, and access control, and report unusual activity or policy violations to the appropriate contacts.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, initiate notifications, and coordinate with on-site management and/or public responders as directed.
• Complete shift documentation including incident reports, access logs, and service requests, and communicate status updates during post transitions.

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
