** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and/or supervisors.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including loading areas, trailer yards, dock doors, parking areas, and perimeter routes, as conditions vary by site.

+ Monitor the movement of people, vehicles, and/or deliveries entering and leaving the location, and report unusual activity that could help to deter loss or disruption.

+ Support shipping and distribution operations by helping to maintain order at entry points, verifying authorized access where required, and documenting daily activities, observations, and/or incidents.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.

+ Be at least 21 years of age.

+ CPR certification is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ A guard card and/or license is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
