Unarmed Security Officer

Location:

East Hanover, NJ

Schedule:

Tuesday-Friday | 7:00AM to 5:00PM

Pay: $19.50 per hour

St. Moritz Security Services, Inc. (SMSSI) is seeking professional and dependable Unarmed Security Officers to provide security services at a client site in Hopewell, NJ. Officers will maintain a safe and secure environment through observation, reporting, patrols, and customer service.

Responsibilities

* Conduct foot patrols of assigned areas

* Monitor and report suspicious activity, hazards, and security concerns

* Enforce site policies, procedures, and post orders

* Respond to incidents and emergency situations as required

* Complete accurate daily activity and incident reports

* Provide professional customer service to employees, visitors, and clients

* Monitor access control and visitor activity as assigned

Requirements

* Current New Jersey SORA License required

* High school diploma or equivalent

* Strong written and verbal communication skills

* Ability to write detailed and accurate reports

* Reliable transportation and dependable attendance

* Ability to pass required background screening and drug testing

* Security, military, law enforcement, or customer service experience preferred

* CCURE security software experience preferred

Qualifications

* Professional appearance and demeanor

* Strong observation and problem-solving skills

* Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
