Security Officer Access Gate Monitor (Part-Time)

Learn more:  In this residential access control role, you will monitor access points, verify entry authorization, and support a welcoming environment for residents, guests, and staff.

The role may include routine patrols, visible presence to help discourage security-related concerns, and clear communication. Working with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, care, and integrity, you will help create a positive daily experience.

Part Time

$19.00 / Hour

• Saturday: 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sunday: 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or visitors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, checking credentials, and directing authorized individuals at entry and exit points.
• Monitor doors, gates, and/or other access points to help support approved entry procedures and help deter unauthorized access within the residential location.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site contacts or emergency services when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, visitor records, and/or incident documentation, and communicate relevant security-related information to supervisors, residents, and/or property staff.

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• High school diploma or GED and be able to provide proof.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Prefer comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Prefer alarm panel experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicant subject to background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal considers qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicant subject to drug screen per law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
