Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Full Time Patrol in Mays Landing, NJ
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic retail location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. In this people‑first role, you will support a welcoming environment through strong communication, customer service, and teamwork, while bringing a reliable, agile, and innovative approach to daily responsibilities with integrity at the core.

Pay Rate: $18.54 / Hour
Job Schedule
Mon 10:00 AM – 08:00 PM
Tue 10:00 AM – 08:00 PM
Wed 10:00 AM – 08:00 PM
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, as working environments and conditions may vary by location.
- At least 1 year of security‑related experience is required.
- Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
- A state, county, or city issued security‑related license is preferred.
- The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
- A guard card/license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
