PositionSecurity Officer Patrol Driver Scout – Gibbstown, NJ
Position Type: Part Time
Pay Rate: $18.63 / Hour
Job Schedule:
- Tue: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
- Wed: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
- Provide customer service to site personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security procedures, location‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a chemical and petrochemical location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, access concerns, and other critical situations calmly while communicating observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, perimeter and designated restricted areas to help identify unusual activity, potential hazards or policy violations.
- Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and visitor authorizations, and document incidents, observations and daily activities in accordance with site procedures.
- Support access control, emergency notifications and related reporting duties while working in varying indoor and outdoor conditions common to an unarmed patrol post.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A state, county or city issued security‑related license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Background investigation as required by federal, state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Drug screen as permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
