As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver's license.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities in a food manufacturing and industrial location.

+ Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help to deter unauthorized access.

+ Monitor access to the location by verifying authorized personnel, visitors, vendors, and delivery drivers in accordance with site-specific procedures.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.

+ Document patrols, observations, incidents, and daily activities accurately in required reports and logs.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Access control and badge experience is preferred.

+ Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.

+ CPR certification is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
