Security Officer

Securitas is hiring a part-time Security Officer to work Saturdays and Sundays, providing professional protection for client facilities. In this customer-facing role, you will monitor entrances and exits, control access, conduct patrols, and respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies. Responsibilities include completing clear reports, enforcing site rules, and supporting a safe environment for employees and visitors. Responsibilities

• Monitor entrances, exits, and patrol assigned areas to deter unauthorized access and suspicious activity
• Enforce client site rules and regulations while maintaining a professional, customer-focused presence
• Respond to alarms, emergencies, and incidents; observe, report, and document all activities accurately
• Conduct access control, badge checks, and visitor management as required by post orders
• Perform regular security and safety inspections, noting hazards and reporting maintenance issues
• Provide clear, courteous assistance and directions to employees, visitors, and the public
• Collaborate with site supervisors and client representatives to support security objectives
• Complete detailed written reports and logs for daily activity and incidents
• Follow all Securitas and client procedures, including emergency and safety protocols
• Participate in required training, drills, and certifications to maintain readiness and compliance
