The Armed Security Guard role is a full-time, on‑site position based in Teterboro, NJ. The Armed Security Guard is responsible for maintaining a visible security presence, monitoring premises and access points, and protecting people, property, and assets in accordance with company procedures and client requirements. Daily tasks include conducting patrols, verifying identifications and credentials, responding to alarms and incidents, and documenting activities through detailed reports and logs.

The role involves enforcing site rules and regulations, de‑escalating conflicts when possible, and coordinating with supervisors, law enforcement, or emergency responders as needed. The Armed Security Guard is expected to follow all safety protocols, handle firearms responsibly, and maintain a high level of professionalism, situational awareness, and customer service at all times.

• Demonstrated skills in situational awareness, threat assessment, access control, and patrol operations.
• Ability to follow structured procedures, complete accurate incident and activity reports, and use real-time reporting tools.
• Proficiency in conflict resolution, de‑escalation techniques, and effective communication with clients, visitors, and team members.
• Strong understanding of firearms safety, weapons handling, and adherence to all applicable laws and regulations.
• Experience working in security roles within commercial, industrial, or event environments is highly beneficial.
• Valid security guard license and authorization to work as an armed guard in New Jersey, with all required permits and clearances.
• Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods, and to respond quickly to emergencies or unusual situations.
• Reliable attendance, punctuality, and the ability to work assigned shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certifications in security, law enforcement, or related fields are a plus.
