This continued success has created a need for a BDA Fire Alarm Technician to work out of our Wall, NJ location.
Responsibilities- Test and install Bi-Directional Amplifier (BDA) and Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) to enhance emergency responder radio coverage in buildings.
- Integrate BDA systems with Fire Alarm Control Panels (FACP) and ensure proper signaling and compliance.
- Read and interpret construction documents, wiring diagrams, and equipment specifications.
- Maintain up-to-date records and documentation related to project activities and progress.
- Coordinate with general contractors, project managers, and inspectors.
- High school diploma is required. Industry experience preferred.
- Valid Driver's license and clean driving record.
- Ability to read blueprints, riser diagrams, and specifications.
- Extensive knowledge of NFPA 72, NEC, Fire Alarm System Theory, OSHA Requirements, and Industry Standards for Fire Alarm systems installation.
- Experience with a variety of system manufacturers including Gamewell-FCI, Siemens, Notifier, Edwards, Simplex, Honeywell, Firelite, etc.
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
- Comfortable working on ladders, lifts, and in confined spaces.
- Ability to work indoors/outdoors in varying conditions.

Salary commensurate with experience with opportunity for a results-driven bonus based on personal output and effectiveness in role. Expected hourly range between $30 - $50 per hour.
