Join Revive Service & Restoration at Farmer Brothers. Picture your day starting at 7:30 AM. You review the queue, load your service vehicle with the right parts, and head out to support cafes, restaurants, and workplaces across your territory. Some stops are proactive tune‑ups; others are urgent fixes that keep beverage programs running. You wrap up by 4:30 PM most days, closing calls with precise documentation and clear communication to customers and the team.
When your rotation comes up, you handle after‑hours and weekend calls with the same calm, professional approach.
- Typical hours:
Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM - On‑call rotation required, including weekends
- Travel:
Primarily within a ~100‑mile radius; occasional regional trips
- Install, repair, remove, and commission coffee and beverage dispensing systems for a defined customer base.
- Complete both planned and unscheduled work: preventive maintenance, surveys, installations, and emergency service calls.
- Participate in equipment installation planning, scheduling, and on‑site execution.
- Maintain van stock and spare parts within replenishment guidelines; reorder as needed.
- Own all service documentation: call closures, detailed work notes, accurate invoices, and collection of required customer signatures.
- Communicate promptly and clearly with customers and internal teams; relay customer feedback and requests.
- Meet service level agreements (SLAs) and prioritize tasks to align with expectations.
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- 3+ years of hands‑on mechanical/technical experience (required).
- Food service background a plus.
- Preferred exposure to electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and multimeter‑based troubleshooting.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Willing and able to travel throughout a 100+ mile radius.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve equipment issues efficiently.
- Capable of lifting up to 60 lbs frequently.
- Comfort managing both scheduled work and urgent break/fix calls, including PMs, surveys, and installs.
- Strong verbal and written communication; excellent customer service presence.
- Aligns with business goals and represents the brand professionally.
- Spots issues and opportunities quickly; applies new skills on the job.
- Practices active listening; collaborates effectively with managers and peers.
- Builds rapport and long‑term customer relationships; identifies ways to grow the business.
- Uses sound judgment and decisive problem‑solving.
- Works independently with minimal supervision while contributing to team objectives.
