We're hiring a Mechanic for Meadows at Middlesex Golf Course!

Ideal candidates are analytical problem solvers and self-starters. They have extensive knowledge of small engine repair, including but not limited to equipment safety, inspection experience, and preventative maintenance. Additionally, this position will utilize technical hands-on skills such as setting heights, sharpening blades, welding materials, making cuts, and more.

Job Requirements:

* 5 years of progressing mechanics experience - preferably some golf course-specific experience

* Must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills

* Must be organized, motivated and efficient with a high attention to detail

* Knowledge of gasoline, diesel and 2 cycle motors

* Knowledge of hydraulic systems

* Knowledge of grinding equipment and proper reel and bed knife grinding techniques.

* Must keep thorough records of preventative maintenance and inventories

Shop Amenities:

* Newer Foley Grinders

* Full size golf lift and Table Lifts

* Newer equipment fleet, majority of equipment is 5 years old or newer

* Qualified candidate will provide their own mechanics tools

Compensation and Benefits:

* Salary $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
