Our client, a leader in facility management and building maintenance, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Engineering & Maintenance department supporting a dedicated team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Location: Mount Olive, NJ
Pay Range:
Shift: First shift (6:30 am - 3:00 pm), with some on-call overtime
What's the Job?
- Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
- Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
- Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
- Review work orders and coordinate with systems to ensure timely completion.
- Support energy management by ensuring all building systems operate efficiently and safely.
What's Needed?
- High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of related experience.
- Ability to meet physical requirements including lifting loads of 50 lbs or more.
- Basic troubleshooting skills in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and lockout/tagout practices.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

¿ Cuál es el trabajo?
- Realizar mantenimiento preventivo y reparaciones continuas en sistemas mecánicos, eléctricos y otros sistemas del edificio.
- Realizar inspecciones de mantenimiento rutinario, diagnosticar problemas potenciales y efectuar reparaciones.
- Ayudar en la instalación y modificación de equipos y sistemas del edificio.
- Revisar órdenes de trabajo y coordinar con los sistemas para garantizar la finalización oportuna.
- Apoyar la gestión energética asegurando que todos los sistemas del edificio funcionen de manera eficiente y segura.
