Clay's Climate Control​/Envirosafe - HVAC Maintenance Technician

Compensation

Hourly rate $17.00 to $25.00 per hour + bonus opportunities. Eligible candidates may receive a $2,000 Sign-On Bonus.

• Diagnose issues such as no heat, no AC, inadequate cooling, fan-only operation, loud noises, leaks around unit.
• Sell repairs or replacements of furnaces, boilers, condensers, package units, coils, humidifiers, water heaters, circulators, zone controls, heat pumps, air handlers.
• Assist in the preparation and completion of installs that you sold.
• Communicate with customers, co-workers, managers, and vendors.
• Maintain an orderly, clean, and fully stocked company truck that you are allowed to take home.

• Minimum 2 years experience in the trade.
• Positive attitude and willingness to treat customers with utmost respect.
• Deep understanding of heating, AC, IAQ equipment and HVAC system designs.
• Enthusiasm to learn and grow.
• Respect client home as an invited guest.
• Ability to work late if required.

• Physically able to work on HVAC units.
• Must work in extreme cold or heat depending on season.
• Prolonged standing, kneeling, crawling, or climbing ladders.
• Must lift 50 pounds at a time.
