Job Overview
We are actively hiring Full-Time Residential Technicians for large-scale fiber installation projects across New Jersey, New York, and Connecticut. Technicians will perform Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) installations, service activations, troubleshooting, and customer support within residential environments. We welcome both experienced telecom technicians and motivated entry-level candidates looking to build a long-term career in the growing fiber industry.
Paid Training Program AvailableNo prior FTTH experience? We provide training for inexperienced technicians ready to learn and work in the field.
Training benefits include:
- Hands-on FTTH installation training
- Field mentorship and onboarding support
- Long-term project opportunities
- $400 bonus paid one week after successful training completion
- Complete residential FTTH installations and service activations
- Install ONTs, routers, modems, and Wi-Fi equipment
- Perform fiber drop routing and inside wiring installations
- Conduct service testing, troubleshooting, and signal verification
- Complete repair and maintenance service calls when required
- Previous FTTH, telecom, cable, or broadband installation experience preferred
- Experience with residential customer installations
- Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently in the field
- Willingness to learn and complete training program
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Comfortable working indoors, outdoors, and in residential environments
- Ability to use basic hand tools
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to climb ladders and work in varying weather conditions
- Ability to lift and carry telecom equipment
- 1099 contract, commission based, pay based on experience and production
