Position: Facilities Maintenance Tech- 1st shift- 90 Day Increase Eligible
Location: Sterling Woods

Scope

As part of the maintenance team, this role provides upkeep and repair tasks on the exterior and interior of the building including machine repair, basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, grounds keep, and light equipment repair and maintenance duties.

Work Schedule

1st Shift: Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm or 7am-3:30pm

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Clean facilities by sweeping, dusting, etc.
  • Perform maintenance and light repairs.
  • Perform routine landscaping on the grounds.
  • Paint and fill gaps or crevices (on walls, sidewalks, etc.).
  • Undertake light installation or carpeting (e.g., build cabinets).
  • Repair equipment or appliances.
  • Assist tradespeople with electrical, plumbing or HVAC repairs.
  • Undertake duties as assigned or emergency tasks (e.g., shoveling snow).
  • Identify and report the need for major repairs.
  • Operate company van for pick up and deliveries.

Essential Knowledge and Skills
  • Ability to follow technical operating manuals, schematics and diagrams.
  • Ability to use various tools such as wrenches, screw drivers, measuring devices, power tools.
  • Must be able to climb ladders and lift heavy material regularly.
  • Ability to work independently and resolve issues as they arise.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and fix simple problems associated with electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical tasks.
Education
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent; an Associate or Trade school degree preferred.
Required Experience
  • 3-5 years of related experience performing general facilities maintenance work.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in manufacturing is preferred.
  • HVAC certification a plus.
  • Forklift certification a plus.

As required by local law, TTM provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in New York, California and Colorado. For California‑based roles, compensation ranges are based upon specific physical locations.

Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC, including but not limited to: a) identify ITAR product on the manufacturing floor and understand that access to these products and related technical data is restricted to only US Citizens and US Permanent Residents; b) recognize Foreign Person visitors by badge differentiation; c) understand and follow authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities (VAL);

d) understand the Export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the US; e) manage vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.
