SDK Millbridge Gardens is seeking a full-time HVAC Maintenance Technician to join our committed team dedicated to ensuring the safety and excellent condition of our community.

This position is based in Clementon, NJ with required on-call and snow removal hours.
About the PositionAs our HVAC maintenance technician, you will…
- Model behavior that is aligned with SDK values when interacting with anyone associated with SDK.
- Ensure all HVAC systems and hot water heaters are well maintained and operational.
- Replace HVAC systems including central air units and hot water heaters as needed.
- Assess and repair issues including HVAC systems, hot water heaters, electrical, plumbing, painting, minor tile work, and carpentry.
- Install, replace or repair damaged or new equipment and appliances.
- Aim to resolve service requests within 24 hours, as much as possible, following established work order procedures; communicate effectively with the team on progress and roadblocks.
- Ensure preventive and regularly scheduled maintenance procedures are completed.
- Ensure all procedures related to apartment unit turnovers are completed in a timely manner.
- Be on-call to address urgent resident matters after regular work hours.
- Maintain accurate records regarding preventative maintenance, service requests, apartment make-ready status, and work in progress items.
- Collaborate with the property team members to maintain a safe community.
- As needed, be responsible for routine grounds and property maintenance, including but not limited to, snow removal and general cleaning.
- Address ad hoc projects as assigned.
- Must have a Universal or Type 2 License.
- A minimum of 5 – 7 years of HVAC experience.
- A minimum of 2 years of building maintenance experience, preferably in a multifamily environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge and skill in general plumbing, electrical, carpentry, locksmithing, painting, dry-wall repair, and snow removal.
- Exceptional customer service, interpersonal and follow through skills.
- Available for on-call emergency services on an as-needed basis.
- Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
- Possess stellar references and stable work history.
- Must be able to work with any employer in the US without any restrictions whatsoever.

The gross hourly pay range for this position is between $30.00 - 32.00. The actual compensation will be based on factors unique to the candidate, including direct years of experience and depth of knowledge.
