Industrial Electrician

My client is a Electrical Contractor in the industrial space. They are actively seeking an Industrial Electrician.

Duties

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC).
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of electrical systems.
• Utilize voltmeters and other diagnostic tools to troubleshoot electrical issues.
• Renovate existing electrical systems as needed to improve efficiency or comply with updated standards.
• Work with low voltage systems and logic controllers to ensure proper functionality.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople, including commercial electricians and handymen, to complete projects on time.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all safety protocols and regulations.
• Install/ troubleshoot industrial electrical equipment and motors 3 phase up to 440 volt.

Skills

• Proficient in reading schematics and blueprints related to electrical systems.
• Experience using voltmeters and other hand tools necessary for installation and repair tasks.
• Knowledge of low voltage systems and logic controllers is preferred.
• Familiarity with NEC standards and regulations is essential.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues effectively.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous experience as a commercial electrician or maintenance person is a plus.
