Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Skilled Laborer role located in Margate City, NJ. The Skilled Laborer will support a variety of construction and property improvement projects, including site preparation, demolition, cleanup, and assisting trades professionals as needed. Daily tasks may include loading and unloading materials, operating basic tools and equipment under supervision, maintaining a clean and organized job site, and following instructions from supervisors or lead workers.

The role requires consistent adherence to safety procedures, proper use of personal protective equipment, and completion of tasks within project timelines. The Skilled Laborer will also communicate regularly with team members to coordinate work, report issues, and help ensure high-quality project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting, standing, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools, with the ability to learn and follow equipment operating instructions safely.
• Strong attention to safety practices, including use of PPE, hazard awareness, and adherence to company and site safety rules.
• Reliable work habits, including punctuality, accountability, and the ability to follow verbal and written directions.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills, with a willingness to support colleagues and work respectfully with diverse crews.
• Prior experience in construction, demolition, landscaping, or related skilled labor is preferred but not always required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to and from the Margate City, NJ job site (or nearby locations as assigned).
• Ability to pass any required background checks, work authorization verification, and pre-employment screenings as applicable.
