Building Automation Controls Technician
$55000 - $80000 per year | Folsom, NJ | On-Site | Permanent
A bit about us:We deliver full-service automation solutions for HVAC, lighting, and indoor environmental quality systems, as well as security systems, across the mid-Atlantic. Dedicated to high-performance and energy‑efficient systems, we focus on partnering with building owners, engineering teams, ESCOs, and construction firms to implement long‑term solutions that enhance both energy savings and occupant well‑being.
As a controls specialist on our operations or service team, you will be responsible for conducting preventative maintenance, repair, installation, and commissioning of BAS/BMS controls. This role will be roughly 80% in the field at customer sites and you will be provided a company vehicle. Responsibilities include performing start‑up, checking, testing, system diagnostics, and commissioning from system‑level controllers to end devices for small to medium‑sized new or retrofit projects.

- 2+ years of Building automation or commercial HVAC controls experience
- Knowledge of 1 or more of the following BAS platforms:
Siemens, Trane, Delta Controls, Johnson Controls, Distech, Honeywell, Schneider Electric, Automated Logic, or other - Installation and servicing of commercial HVAC systems
- Tridium Niagara (N4)
- DDC
