POSITION AT A GLANCE

Location:

Pennsville, NJ. Position Type:
Full-Time.

Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM. Address: 454 North Broadway, Pennsville, NJ 08070. Pay: $17.00 - $45.00 per hour
- Based on experience. 2nd Shift is eligible for a pay differential.

Sign-On Bonus:
Earn up to $5,000 for Expert and Master-Level Diesel Technicians!

WHAT YOU’LL DO
  • Perform minor to advanced repairs as outlined on the repair order.
  • Diagnose causes of malfunctions and complete repairs as directed by a supervisor.
  • Assist other technicians on major repairs.
  • Communicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts.
  • Save and tag warranty or customer-requested parts.
  • Examine vehicles for additional safety or service needs.
  • Document all work performed and recommended, including warranty information.
  • Road test vehicles as required or refer to test technician.
  • Keep work area, service truck, and customer vehicles clean and organized.
  • Report machinery defects or malfunctions to supervisor.
  • Stay current on manufacturer technical bulletins.
  • Follow all federal, state, and local regulations, and adhere to Hunter Truck safety policies.
Expert to Master Levels Will Also
  • Handle complex mechanical and electrical issues with minimal supervision.
  • Perform electrical and/or air conditioning system repairs.
  • Perform major component repairs and/or overhauls.
WHAT YOU BRING

Vocational/technical school graduate with a minimum of three (3) years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.

  • Must have experience in engine and driveline troubleshooting.
  • Must have experience in electrical repair and air conditioning systems.
  • Must have component overhaul experience and/or specialty (A/C or electrical) experience.
  • Must be able to obtain passing grade during Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and/or vendor training.
  • Must have good supply of most hand tools to complete most repairs.

Certificates & Licenses:
Valid Driver’s License required; must meet company insurability standards.

Physical Requirements:

Regular standing and use of hands; frequent walking, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling; regularly lift/move up to 50 lbs, frequently up to 100 lbs, and occasionally more than 100 lbs. Vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
