Commercial Hvac Technician

Our client is a leading provider of HVAC solutions for commercial clients in the Hampton, NJ area. We are currently seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Technician to join our growing team.

As a Commercial HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in commercial properties. This role requires technical expertise, a commitment to safety, and a focus on delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and refrigeration units.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues, providing efficient and effective solutions.
  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal system performance and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including maintenance logs and service reports.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to explain system issues, repair options, and maintenance recommendations.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior technicians and apprentices.
  • Stay up-to-date with advancements in HVAC technology and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience as an HVAC Technician, with a focus on commercial systems.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and technical skills.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing HVAC system components.
  • Knowledge of safety standards and regulations related to HVAC systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • EPA Certification for handling refrigerants.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications preferred.
