Intermediate Level Technician (B Tech)

At Midas we are dedicated to providing quality services to customer vehicles in the areas of inspection, diagnosis and repair utilizing the expertise attained through ASE Certifications and/or years of automotive repair experience. We are looking for an Intermediate Level Technician (B Tech) that are able to work independently of others, while also being able to work collaboratively at times with peers.

Responsibilities include performing a thorough visual safety and courtesy inspection, performing tests on specific parts and systems, mounting, balancing and rotating tires, replacing batteries, changing bulbs, belts and hoses, repairing or replacing malfunctioning parts and systems, performing routine and preventative maintenance including oil changes and tune-ups, ability to work on more complex jobs with some assistance such as diagnostics, test driving vehicles to confirm that repairs have been made properly, maintaining and cleaning shop areas, willingness to learn and grow as a technician, and performing other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications include ASE certification preferred but not required, intermediate level technicians must have prior knowledge of automotive basics, knowledge of shop equipment, strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills with some assistance, ability to perform repairs in a timely manner, ability to read service manuals, repair manuals and work orders, and valid driver's license.
