Facilities Mechanic​/Specialist

Our client, an industry leading manufacturer of precision metal and steel components, has an immediate need for an experienced Facilities Mechanic/Specialist
, to join their winning team in Springfield.

Our candidate of choice will support all corporate facilities and its equipment including HVAC, CD Air and test gas compressors, basic electrical work, high pressure plumbing, basic plumbing, basic construction, and perform special projects in support of growth and expansion. Deploy to troubleshoot and diagnose and repair equipment and issues in all facilities throughout our facility and make assessments that may be used to determine the course of action for service and repairs from outside contractors if needed.

• Skilled in assessing industrial grade plumbing issues for potable water, cooling water and wastewater.
• Skilled in troubleshooting Industrial grade plumbing for high purity gases at ultra-high pressure.
• Skilled in advanced level troubleshooting and diagnosis of commercial/industrial HVAC systems to make service and/or repair recommendations.
• Learn to help diagnose problems with CNC Machines.
• Skilled in industrial high voltage electrical work, and troubleshooting, diagnosis, and installation of electrical services.
• Handle emergency service and repair issues following appropriate evaluations.

• 5+ years’ experience in the field of facilities support
• Strong knowledge in hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic control systems and components
