Now Hiring:
The Forklift Operator responsibilities include operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to safely move, store, and stage products while maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting efficient warehouse operations. This role is responsible for loading, unloading, picking, wrapping, and staging orders, performing cycle counts, using RF scanners, inspecting and maintaining equipment, following GMP, food safety, and OSHA standards, identifying workplace safety hazards, training Level 1 forklift operators, and maintaining clean dock and cooler areas.

The position requires working in refrigerated environments while meeting quality, productivity, and customer service standards in a fast-paced manufacturing facility.

Pay Range:$20.75 - $20.75 per hour

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
-Operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
-Pick, wrap, stage, and move materials while ensuring inventory accuracy using RF scanning equipment.
-Perform cycle counts, consolidate partial pallets, and maintain organized inventory.
-Inspect forklifts and equipment, perform routine maintenance checks, and report safety concerns.
-Follow GMP, food safety, food quality, OSHA, and company safety standards at all times.
-Train and mentor Level 1 Forklift Operators.
-Maintain clean dock, cooler, and work areas while supporting quality and customer service objectives.

Job Requirements:
-High school diploma or GED required.
-Minimum of 2 years of powered forklift operating experience.
-Experience operating stand-up and sit-down forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
-Knowledge of OSHA regulations, GMP, and food safety practices.
-Basic math skills, strong attention to detail, and effective problem-solving abilities.
-Good written and verbal communication skills.
-Ability to work in refrigerated environments (32F42F) and outdoor weather conditions.
-Ability to lift, push, or carry up to 40 lbs. unassisted and perform repetitive physical tasks, including standing, bending, stooping, and climbing stairs or ladders.
-Ability to work a flexible schedule, multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and perform effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
