Job Description & How to Apply Below
- Test and install Bi-Directional Amplifier (BDA) and Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) to enhance emergency responder radio coverage in buildings
- Integrate BDA systems with Fire Alarm Control Panels (FACP) and ensure proper signaling and compliance
- Read and interpret construction documents, wiring diagrams, and equipment specifications
- Maintain up-to-date records and documentation related to project activities and progress
- Coordinate with general contractors, project managers, and inspectors
Requirements
- High school diploma is required
- Industry experience preferred
- Valid Driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to read blueprints, riser diagrams, and specifications
- Extensive knowledge of NFPA 72, NEC, Fire Alarm System Theory, OSHA Requirements, and Industry Standards for Fire Alarm systems installation
- Experience with Gamewell-FCI, Siemens, Notifier, Edwards, Simplex, Honeywell, Firelite, and other system manufacturers
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds
- Comfortable working on ladders, lifts, and in confined spaces
- Ability to work indoors/outdoors in varying conditions
